I missed the stories you share while you were on hiatus. Thanks for sharing this story. It’s especially poignant and I love the thought of that food truck making it’s way to the flea market on Sunday even though I live on the other side of the country. Glad you’re back and glad you’re still sharing your own great stories as well as those of others.

Isn’t Ann Hood the greatest? I think her writing is so wonderful- she can take any aspect of every day life and make it special.
And I’m glad to be back- little crazy with all the back to school activities but I’m trying to get back in the groove.
Your post about domestic violence and the elderly is excellent btw- great information for all who care for their parents or other older folks to have.
