We have been to this beautiful area on two occasions. It is a beautiful destination, and we recommend it highly. There is a wonderful book by Carlo Levi…”Christ Stopped at Eboli”….that is worth reading. Then visit the museum in Matera where Levi’s paintings are displayed.
